Japa Yoga concentrates on chanting the scripture, which represents the God—the powerful vibration and frequency in the universe. Through the vibration and frequency of the repetitive chanting, one reaches the level of concentration, meditation, and harmony. 

How To Do Japa Yoga

1. First, select any Mantra, one that is given to you by your Guru, and repeat it from 108-1,080 times daily. Keep your Mantra a secret and stick to one Mantra at a time.

2. Wake up at 4 a.m. and do Japa for two hours. Take a bath or wash your hands, feet, mouth and face before sitting for Japa. Do Japa whenever you can: morning, noon or night and especially before going to bed.

3. Face north or east during the practice to enhance the efficacy of Japa. Sit on a deer skin or rug and place a cloth over it. Sit in a suitable place, such as a temple or under a tree. Make sure to maintain a steady pose and resolve to complete a minimum number of repetitions before standing.

4. Recite some prayers before practicing Japa yoga. Use a mala of 108 beads, but do not allow the mala to hang below your navel. Make sure that the mala is not visible. Keep your hand near the heart or nose. Cover it with a towel, which must be cleaned daily. Use your middle finger and thumb of your right hand to roll the beads. You cannot use your index finger.

5. When you repeat your Mantra, keep in mind that the Lord is seated in your heart and do not do the Japa in a hurried manner. Pronounce your Mantra without many mistakes. Increase the speed of your Mantra only when your mind begins to wander. Be vigilant and alert while doing Japa yoga. Try to associate Japa with the rhythm of your breath.

6. Do not beg for any worldly objects while doing Japa. Observe silence. It is important not to leave the place at once when Japa is over. Sit quietly for about ten minutes and hum some prayers. After this, leave the place and begin your normal daily routine and activities.

7. Continue the current of Japa mentally at all times and realize the goal of life and enjoy the bliss associated with practicing Japa yoga.

加帕(重覆頌經)瑜珈 Japa Yoga

專心重覆頌唱經文,這個經文代表著神--宇宙之強大波動頻率。藉反覆頌唱產生的波動及頻率,達到專注、冥想與和諧的境界。

 

如何練習加帕瑜珈 

1.首先,選擇任何一個上師所給的咒語,每天重108~1080遍。保持你的咒語的隱密性,並堅持同一時間的頌唱。

2.在凌晨4點醒來,並頌唱兩個小時。坐下來頌唱前,先洗個澡,或是清潔一下手、腳、嘴、臉。在任何你方便的時間頌唱,早上、中午或晚上,特別是睡前。

3.面對北方或東方,以提高頌唱的療效。坐在鹿皮或地毯上,並在上面鋪一塊布。坐在一個合適的地方,如:寺廟,或在一棵大樹下。請一定要保持一個穩定的姿勢,起身前請完成一個最低數量的頌唱。

4.練習加帕瑜珈前,背誦一些祈禱。使用108顆珠子的念珠,但不要讓念珠垂到你的肚臍以下。確保念珠是不可見的。保持你的手在心臟附近或鼻子。用毛巾覆蓋,必須每天打掃​​。用你的右手中指和拇指滾動的珠子,不能用你的食指。

5.當你重複你的咒語時,牢記上主位於你的心旁,且不要以匆忙的心情頌唱。發出你的咒語,不要有太多的錯誤。只有當你開始在腦海裡徘徊時,才增加咒語的速度。必須保持警覺,同時頌唱。嘗試連結你的呼吸節奏。
